A New Star Trek Flies To Old Territory In 2009

Did you realize that the original Star Trek film was thought to be a prequel to the at that time terminated TV program? This enthrallment for a prequel to the most famous space account of all period sustained throughout the years. On 1991, for example, the 6th Star Trek film was meant to present another set of leads who would’ve played the new accounts of the established member. During 2001, Enterprise was aired, presenting the first adventures of the USS Enterprise under the command of Jeffrey Archer.

Only in 2009 will a real prequel to the previous series be realized.

Plainly dubbed Star Trek, the latest flick will gyrate around the establishment of the extraordinary comradeship between James Kirk and Spock, the foundations of the franchise. This time however, they will be played by young, up-and-coming stars. Chris Pine will do the character of a young James Kirk, and Zachary Quinto will take on the character of a young Spock.

To provide connection with the first flicks, Leonard Nimoy will reprise his character as an adult Spock who will get to face his younger self by means of time travel. It was stated that Nimoy anticipated much from the script, and if it wasn’t to his liking, he would have demanded a modification before he would agree to do the shooting of the film.

To state that he was energized about the script would be an understatement.

Leonard Nimoy was stated to be enthusiastic once understanding the script. He couldn’t ask something more to make it better in his opinion.

This bodes fine for the subsequent installment of the well loved sequence, as naught but encouraging stories and evaluations – early on – have originated from the set and from the location. Such is good reports certainly, as Star Trek is a franchise with the most ardent followers in life, where protests are ordered when a Vulcan is played to have longer-than-normal ears.

Apart from Kirk and Spock, younger adaptations of program regulars like Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy, Montgomery “Scotty” Scott, Uhura, Pavel Chekov and Hikaru Sulu will comprise the squad of the USS Enterprise.

Star Trek will be shown on May 8, 2009 to begin the year’s summer hit celebration.
