Nobody expected the latest Batman movie, the Dark Knight, to have the accomplishment it survived to garner. The follow-up to Batman Begins has earned $525,833,000 as of Oct. 5, 2008, the quickest film in history to ever break the $500,000,000 barrier.
This accomplishment has guaranteed one thing: another follow-up.
Presently, the website is abuzz with gossips about the third flick. These gossips are, certainly, only that – gossips. At this point, nobody actually knows what the third film leads to. However, considering the presented informations we can draw from certain precedents that will guide us to devise educated speculations about the third film.
Number one, the title. Batman Begins is a catchy title that immediately speaks of a remake of the franchise coming from uninspiring accounts in the current ideas of the lead as portrayed by Tim Burton. Rumors of the title of the number two film varied from the exciting – i.e. Batman Triumphant – to the common – i.e. Dark Moon Rising.
In the end, the movie outfit settled for the Dark Knight, a moniker assigned by the people of Gotham to their brooding guardin in the pages of the comics series.
And what title is coming up for the third film? It actually depends on the direction that the third movie will take. If the third film continues the story of the Dark Knight, then Batman Triumphant may be in the running for the title of the third film. However, the rumor mill is buzzing with gossips about the third flick being an adaptation of Frank Miller’s classic, the Dark Knight Returns, which is the tale of a retired Batman returning to his delinquency battling ways 40 years after he surrendered his cape. In which case, the Dark Knight Returns would be an apt title that requires no modifications.
Number two, the villains. Who will be the primary antagonist for the third film? This would be simpler to speculate. Just two major villains from the Batman sagas hang about, after Scarecrow has been disposed of, the Joker being arrested, and Two Face having (apparently) deceased. Riddler or the Penguin, whichever or both. Several websites have by now reported that Johnny Depp has offered himself to play the part of the Riddler. Several websites have also reported that Philip Seymour Hoffman is seriously being considered to play the Penguin.
Number three, will there be a Robin? Despite the fact that the general tone of the reboot doesn’t look to demand for a Robin, a convincing take on a boy associate can never be ruled out. If this is the course that will be taken, expect the Dick Grayson adaptation – the original Robin – to be the one employed in the film.

Well, 2009 will mark the showing of G.I. Joe, the movie.
Indeed, America’s primary elite assault influence will duke it out with the group of Cobra in a film appropriately called G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra.
The film is deemed to be a faithful interpretation of the cartoon, from the depiction of the stars casted to the outfits they will be using. Snake Eyes will still be a ninja who won’t talk. He will still use the slippery black attire and the helm that made him very famous all through our childhood days. Cobra Commander will always be the grand antagonist we have grown to despise and like. Duke will nonetheless be the war-blemished soldier that one and all knows will be the successor to General Hawk.
Howver G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra won’t be a “battle underway” kind of tale. Rather, the film is gauged to be an beginning story describing the, well, rise of the malevolent Cobra society and the structure of the G.I. Joe strike force to oppose them.
Despite its military roots, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra isn’t actually classified as a combat film. But, it is more similar to a fancy film like the X-Men and even the Lord of the Rings.
