There was a period when Hollywood shunned comic properties like the plague. With average interpretations of masterpiece characters like the Punisher, Captain America, and even the Fantastic Four – the last two being so bad that they wind up as straight-to-video issues – Hollywood has grasped the notion that comic properties do not command a following that is large enough to ensure a hit.
In 2000, a comic-adapted flick altered such a perception.
Bryan Singer took comic book’s main franchise, the X-Men, and created a great film out of the same. The outcome is a trilogy that raked in billions of dollars in profit.
The X-Men flicks are greatly recognized as the films that broke open the gates of Hollywood for highly booming superhero films that came after – Spider-Man, Blade, Daredevil, the two Fantastic Four flicks, and even the remake of Batman and the come back of Superman to the wide screen.
The X-Men trilogy, nevertheless, has completed its run.
Nonetheless, followers should not worry as Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox are planning a series of films focusing on the genesis of the transformed creatures we have grown to like.
First of these films is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, scheduled for a May 1, 2009 showing. Hugh Jackman will reprise his character as the titular persona, though, the film will be adjusted some 17 years before the occurrences of the first X-men movie.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the tale of Logan’s unearthing of his mutant abilities, his addition to the Weapon X program, his transactions with William Stryker, and his falling out with the stated institution.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine will feature a slew of new mutants direct from the comic series, like the motor mouth killer, Dead Pool – played by the highly-recognized Ryan Reynolds – and the raging Cajun, Gambit – played by Taylor Kitsch. Sabretooth, surely, will perform a crucial role in the flick, being a central figure in the Wolverine mythos.
One of the things to see in the flick is the surprise that the Weapon X code doesn’t mean the letter X, rather, it refers to the number “ten,” with Wolverine being the tenth government project made for mass destruction. The ending of X-Men Origins will pit Wolverine against the new edition of the program, Weapon XI.
It’s going to be slobber knocker!

Talking about Megaton, the new models might show that he will be given a new alt form: a tank. Also, a Chevrolet Corvette will transform into the cartoon favorite, Sideswipe.

Terminator: Salvation Slated To Bookend The Franchise
“Hasta la vista baby.”
Who can not remember Arnold Schwarzenegger’s memorable line from James Cameron’s second largest film – next merelyto the Titanic – Terminator 2: Judgment Day? It’s hokey, it’s tacky, it’s everlasting.
Certainly, there’s a lot to the Terminator series than walking automatons with human hide shooting their ammunitions here and there and delivering the most clichéd lines imaginable. After all, the destiny of John Connor – who is the star of the series, not the Terminator automatons – is a distressing one. John Connor is destined to be one of the few survivors of Earth who will lead an extremely hard rebellion in opposition to the machines. His victory isn’t definite, consideringthe life span of the Terminator series, yet, his younger self will forever be chased by Terminators propelled by the robots from the imminent for the solitary rationale that he will be the in charge of the heroic few who will face up to the imminent sovereigns of the world.
While the number one Terminator film started Arnold’s calling as a Hollywood fame even though he portrayed the role of the unstoppable slaying robot, whereas Terminator 2: Judgment Day starred Arnold as the previous model nice machine lauched to protect John Connor from the lates model killer automaton, and whereas Terminator 3, called as T3, had Arnold going back to protect John Connor from a new female killer machine, Terminator 4, entitled Terminator: Salvation, won’t include Arnold in any way.
In its place, Terminator: Salvation will focus on John Connor in the forthcoming – this point played by Batman star Christian Bale – and a new Terminator, Marcus Wright – played by Sam Worthington – as they take on their destiny and carry the war to the machines by venturing to the core of Skynet and untying each and every of its mysteries.
Terminator: Salvation is not a reboot of the series.
But, it’s an extension of the first Terminator films and the events of the TV series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, even though the imminent is altered by supervening instances that will likewise be seen in the movie.
However, as director McG has announced, Terminator: Salvation will act as both a continuation and a prequel to the first movies, and can be enjoyed independently from the parts that came before it. Terminator: Salvation will be about the birth of a hero, as stated by the oft outspoken director. Whether he’s pointing to John Connor or the latest Terminator 101 model, we will find out the moment the opening credits turn round.
